The Second Clinical Hospital of Jilin University

The Second Clinical Hospital of Jilin University was built in 1948, and was named officially as Norman Bethune Medical Science Division in August of 1978. The hospital, located in the central part of ChangchunCity, is a comprehensive clinical college, the clinical pharmacological base of Ministry of Public Health, and one member of the international emergency centers. In September of 1993, the college passed the examination by inspection team of Ministry of Public Health, and became the first national Baby-cherish Hospital all over the province; in April of 1994, it stepped into the group of A-hospitals of Grade Three; and in 1998, it was designated as the medical unit to deal with traffic accidents damage by relative departments.

China-Japan Union Hospital of Jilin University is located in ChangchunCity, the capital of JilinProvince. Subordinate to the Jilin University, which is directly under the Ministry of Education, the hospital is a modern comprehensive A-hospital of Grade Three, and is owned by the whole people; it is responsible for medical care, teaching, scientific research, disease-preventing, health care and rehabilitation. China-Japan Union Hospital of Jilin University was built in 1949; and in 1993, it was evaluated as the first A-hospital of Grade Three in JilinProvince, and in the same year, the hospital was moved to a new place. In order to thank Japanese people, its name was changed to the Third Hospital of Bethune Medicine University (China-JapanUnionHospital). In 2000, the hospital changed its name to China-Japan Union Hospital of Jilin University officially.
